JEANNE HINK
Dear Friends,
This website was designed to clearly present our services and to give you outside resources for more information, and I hope I have done that. But I also want you to experience who we are, to tell you a little about our journey, and lead you to discover our mission.
Jeanne Hink, Owner/President
I grew up in Webster, South Dakota, but my father was an officer in the Air Force so we moved many times when I was child. In 1996, (several moves later) I moved to Hermitage, PA, where my husband, children, and I have made Western Pennsylvania our home.
The Right Sort was founded in 2002, after I gave up a dissatisfying job and long commute to Pittsburgh. I helped a friend move out of her large family home. Working with my friend gave me insight into the feelings of being overwhelmed and the stress that was paralyzing her. As I led her through the downsizing decisions she needed to make, I felt called to help others in similar situations.
After being in business for two years, I discovered that there were actually other people with businesses like mine who help people organize cluttered homes and manage the details of helping people move. Learning about the resources and networking opportunities available through two national organizations, I was led to become an active participant in both the national conferences as well as the local Pittsburgh chapter.
Please take time to visit the websites of these two wonderful organizations:
NAPO, the National Association of Professional OrganizersNASMM, the National Association of Senior Move Managers
These organizations' websites provide a number of wonderful tips and resources.
The Right Sort welcomes both former and future clients to our website. Please explore the scope of services we have available for you and your loved ones, and let us know what you like and what you might like us to offer. Ill leave you with my favorite quote (and my mission statement) One is glad to be of service. --Robin Williams in Bicentennial Man.
